National standards for domestic and drinking water hygiene standards


1 scope
The provisions of this specification the drinking water quality standard and requirement as well as to the choice of water, water for health protection, the requirements of water quality monitoring.
This specification applies to the urban centralized water supply for domestic and drinking water, including self-built centralized water supply and secondary water supply.

3 define
This specification USES the following definition:
: 3.1 domestic and drinking water from centralized water supply unit directly supply of water for drinking and life, if must ensure that residents life drinking water quality safety.

Centralized water supply: 3.3 by water centralized water, after purification treatment and disinfection of water pipe network to the user's water supply.

4.3 domestic and drinking water hygiene requirements
4.3.1 centralized water supply in addition to the required purification treatment, according to need facilities, are due and disinfection facilities, and shall ensure that the disinfection facilities normal operation.
4.3.2 drinking water supply project in the water, water storage and water distribution facilities should be sealed, it is strictly prohibited and drainage facilities, to prevent pollution.
4.3.3 self-built centralized water supply system without the approval of the local health administrative department shall not be connected to the urban water supply system;Production water supply system are strictly forbidden to connect with city water supply systems.
4.3.4 all contact with the water of the water, water purification, water storage, water distribution facilities, protective materials and various kinds of water purifier, disinfectants, such as water treatment agent, shall pollution water quality.4.3.5 centralized water supply shall be continuously strengthen for the water, water, water purification, water storage and water distribution facilities such as total quality management, establish effective water, cleaning, disinfection and maintenance system and the operational procedures, to ensure the quality of water supply.
4.3.6 in the building, rebuilding and expansion of centralized water supply project, water should be based on the reasonable planning, determine the choice of water source, water source protection and engineering design, carefully review the design.New water treatment facilities, pipeline production before and after facilities, pipeline repair, must be strictly to wash, disinfection, the inspection qualified rear can official drainage systems.
4.3.7 health of secondary water supply requirements shall be in accordance with the code for the secondary water supply facilities health provisions in GB 17051-17051.
Five water source and water quality requirements
5.1 new waterworks water choice, should according to the forwards, the recent urban planning, the years of water quality, hydrological and hydrogeological data, health status and endemic in the region near the water intake points and etc., from health, water resources, technical and economic aspects of comprehensive evaluation.Choose good water quality, water is abundant, is advantageous for the protection of water sources.Water upstream of point should be located in the urban and industrial and mining enterprises.
5.2 as the water quality of domestic and drinking water sources, should meet the following requirements.
5.2.1 after chlorine disinfection is only for life drinking water, total coliforms MPN per 100 ml of water value should not be more than 200;After purification treatment and water for life after chlorine disinfection of drinking water, total coliforms MPN per 100 ml of water value should not exceed 2000.
5.2.2 must according to the provisions of section 4.2 table 1, the source water measurement and evaluation to all items.5.2.3 requires sensory properties of source water and general chemical indicators after purification treatment, should satisfy the requirements of this specification section 4.2 table 1.
5.2.4 toxicology indexes of source water, must be in conformity with the provisions of this specification section 4.2 table 1.
5.2.5 radioactive indicators of source water, must be in conformity with the provisions of this specification section 4.2 table 1.

5.2.7 water oxygen consumption in water should not be more than 4 mg/L;The 5th biochemical oxygen demand (cod) should not be more than 3 mg/L.

6 water health protection
6.1 according to the regulation on administration of prevention and control of pollution of drinking water sources protection zones for the requirements, should be drawn around the drinking water sources area and land as water conservation, and according to the relevant water reserve protection regulations.

7 water quality monitoring
7.1 quality inspection method, should comply with the national standard GB5750-85 "standard of drinking water test" regulation.
7.2 the centralized water supply unit, it is necessary to establish the water quality inspection room, is responsible for the inspection source water, purify the structures of the water, the water quality of outgoing water and water pipe network.
Self-built centralized water supply and water quality of secondary water supply should be regular inspection.
7.3 the choice of sampling points and monitoring
Water quality inspection of drinking water, should be in the water source water, off-work water and residents often point sampling.
Urban centralized water supply network water quality inspection, sampling points, the general should be set according to the water supply per twenty thousand population a sample point is calculated.Fewer than twenty thousand set a sample point.When water supply has a population of more than one million, according to the calculated, whether the sampling points can reduce the proportion.When the population under two hundred thousand, should be modest increase.Should have certain points, in all sampling points in water quality old part of pipeline system is vulnerable to the location of the pollution and etc.
Each sampling points, sampling inspection shall be not less than twice a month, bacteriology indicators, turbidity and visible to the naked eye for will check project.Other indicators can be selected according to local water quality condition and needs.Of source water, off-work water and some typical water pipe network peripheral every six months on a full analysis of regular inspection items.For irregular inspection items, according to local situation and existing problems of water quality in the specific inspection items and frequency when necessary.When the detection index is beyond this specification as stated in section 4.2, shall be immediately repeated measurement, and increase the monitoring frequency.Continuous overweight, should find out the reason and take effective measures to prevent harm to human body health.When choosing water or water situation has changed, all the indicators should determine the conventional detection project.Specific sampling points choice, should by water supply unit of the local health supervision institutions according to the specific case, determine to the area.The factory water at least once every day must determine the total number of bacteria, total coliforms, fecal coliforms, turbidity and visible to the naked eye, and appropriately increase the free frequency of the determination of residual chlorine.
Self-built centralized drinking water quality monitoring sampling points, sampling frequency and inspection items, according to the above provisions.
